Saylor Mobile Power Panels
Designed for demand
Saylor Mobile Power Panels are built to your specifications to fit your application perfectly.
There is no other distributed power equipment on the market today with the flexibility required to meet full-service electrical power needs in such a wide variety of environments.
When hurricanes and storms cause widespread power outages, Saylor Mobile Power Panels, along with stand-alone generators, can provide distributed power for entire building systems, as opposed to minimal or partial power offered by our competitors. SMPP systems can help provide power in areas that will not get utility power turned back on for many days, weeks or months.
Saylor Mobile Power Panels (SMPP) can be used in hospitals, nursing homes, disaster areas, construction sites, outdoor events and for many other needs.
With connection to a stand-alone generator or to the power grid, they can be used to distribute power when utility power is lost or when temporary, localized power distribution is needed. The SMPP is essentially a power room on wheels.
While other products offer panels with outlets, the SMPP can be directly wired to building circuits and used to distribute power for applications from lighting to elevators.
Its heavy load capacity also allows the SMPP to be used to split power in areas of a building where only some power may need to be shut off, while keeping other areas up and running.
The SMPP can also be used to maintain continuous electrical service when primary panels require replacement, upgrades or maintenance.
SMPP PRODUCTS CURENTLY IN USE
Saylor Mobile Power Panels have been a great success and a major financial savings to an Indiana hospital which has been able to accomplish major construction and renovation projects without the costly requirement of shutting down portions of the hospital. The SMPP units have been 100% successful with no major shutdowns, and are currently being used as the hospital is adding more floors.
Saylor Mobile Power Panels (SMPP) Technical Specifications
- SMPP equipment is completely mobile and may be moved to any location on strong, durable, heavy-duty wheels capable of negotiating rough areas. The wheels lock in place as a safety feature so the SMPP cannot be moved when locked.
- Each SMPP has two 200 amp electrical 3-phase panels. Both panels have 42 electrical circuits for a total of 84 available electrical circuits.
- SMPP units can be built for any required voltage – 120/208, 120/240 and 277/480.
- Each SMPP has one 200 amp, 3-phase main safety fusible disconnect switch.
- Each SMPP has 5 single-pole Cam-Lok male plugs with 3/0 wire. All Cam-Lok plugs are color coded for correct phasing. The Cam-Lok plugs make it quick and easy to connect to a generator or to the building’s electrical power system, such as a switchboard.
- An optional GFCI main circuit breaker for full panel surge protection is available.
- An optional power conditioner is available.
- SMPP equipment meets all NEC Code requirements and is NEMA 3 rated for indoor/outdoor use.
- SMPP units can be custom configured to meet any specification required.
